About RTU
Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) was established in 2006 by the Government of Rajasthan to enhance the technical education in the state. The University aims to provide quality technical education which may help Rajasthan in its technical development and will boost technical environment in the country.
About AICTE
The AICTE was constituted in 1945 as an advisory body in all matters relating to technical education. Even though it had no statutory powers, it played a very important role in the development of technical education in the country. It had four regional committees with offices at Chennai, Mumbai, Kanpur and Calcutta.
